The photo-concert that was exhibited at the 2022 edition of ForoCAP comes as an answer to the question: Has the democratic debacle in Central America been portrayed in images? The works exhibited at this event showed that it has: from the trial of Efraín Ríos Montt in Guatemala, the rise of Nayib Bukele as Salvadoran caudillo, the extradition of former Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández to the United States, to the consolidated dictatorship of Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua were portrayed in this extraordinary series of 400 photographs with which 43 photographers from El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Spain, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, the United States and England collaborated. The story these images tell is a harsh one, plagued by injustice and violence, and set to music by the Guatemalan heavy metal band.
